In the late ’90s and early ’00s, I was really into HTML web design, and I used to constantly design and redesign my website all the time. However, my website design skills lapsed as I devoted more and more of my life to my travels, my animals, and my career. This website had sat, pretty much unchanged, for years as smartphones and tablets became a thing, and along with them terms like “responsive” and “adaptive” web design that I knew nothing about. I still don’t know anything about them, to be honest, which is why I have switched from self-constructed, out of date HTML to a WordPress template that I am slowly filling in with my content. This was also inspired (in large part) by an amazing headshot taken of me by Esta of Captured Memories by Esta in Lake City, Florida, whom you should definitely check out if you’re in the area. She’s the one who took the picture of me featured on this site that has inspired this redesign. As of now, I only have my resume (under About) as well as two sets of travel photos (under Photos, surprise), but I do plan to keep adding to this as I have time, so please check back!
